Class Registration and Payment

You can register and pay for your class in one of several ways:

1. Online: Click HERE to register and pay now via credit card.

2. In person: Visit the Boarding House at the Historic Johnson Farm (see address below) during open hours (M-F, 10-3) to complete a class registration form and make your payment via cash, check or credit card.

3. By mail: Click HERE for the Registration Form, then download and print the form. Complete the form and mail (see address below) with a check made out to Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.

Weaving Boot Camp II - Exploring Twill Possibilities


Class Description: 

Exploring Twill possibilities — including a Twill Gamp - the Gamp includes 6 Twill threadings: Straight Draw, Point Twill, Advancing Twill, Wall of Troy, a 4 thread Broken Twill, and a 6 thread Broken Twill.

Six (6) threadings, Six (6) treadlings and thirty-six (36) patterns to use as you design your own projects.

Bonus choices: The Atwater method of Shadow Weave. Learn “how to” turn any twill into Shadow Weave and Weft Crimp weave - both bonus projects can be woven on the left over twill gamp threading.

Fee:  Payable by cash, check or credit card
$180.00 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at time of registration)
$190.00 for non-HWFA members

Prerequisites:  Boot Camp 1 or equivalent (Advanced Beginner) 
Maximum number of students: 6
Materials provided by instructor:  Pre-wound warp (looms will be dressed up to the heddles), handouts and weft yarn for weaving.
Materials fee: $15.00 (payable in cash to instructor first day of class)
Materials brought by student: Lunch and drink, weaving tools including threading hook, small sharp scissors or snips, pencil and calculator.

Additional information:  Park at the Historic Johnson Farm Interpretive Center and walk to the Boarding House. Handicapped parking is available at the Boarding House. Please note, as a historic building, the Boarding House is not handicapped accessible.
