Registration and Payment:

You can register and pay for your class in one of several ways:

1. Online: Click HERE to register and pay now via credit card.

2. In person: Visit the Boarding House at the Historic Johnson Farm (see address below) during open hours (M-F, 10-3) to complete a class registration form and make your payment via cash, check or credit card.

3. By mail: Click HERE for the Registration Form, then download and print the form. Complete the form and mail (see address below) with a check made out to Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.

Gourd Ornaments with Alcohol Ink
Class Description: Using small egg-shaped gourds, you will learn how to apply alcohol ink for amazing colors and depth. You will have your choice of 10 colors or mix them for individualized looks. Each ornament will have a jewelry cap hanger and be “sealed” with polyurethane for a lasting and unique gift or to hang on your Christmas or Easter tree. Each student will make three
ornaments in class. These make great gifts.

Fee: Payable by cash, check or credit card
$30.00 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at time of registration)
$40.00 for non-HWFA members

Materials provided by instructor: All materials will be provided, including rubber gloves and rags.
Materials fee: $15.00 (payable in cash to instructor first day of class)
Materials brought by student: Lunch and drink. Working with alcohol ink is messy! Wear old clothes and/or an apron.

Additional information: Park at the Historic Johnson Farm Interpretive Center and walk to the Boarding House. Handicapped parking is available at the Boarding House. Please note, as a historic building, the Boarding House is not handicapped accessible.
